1965 Barracuda, Price

Easter Island Santiago

Do tres dias a bit Santiago, we try to leave for Isla de Pascua Giampa and to the amazement of us immediately confirm the shipment, the heel elevator of 6 brought us luck!
After a journey of 5 hours (nearly 4000 km from the coast of Chile) and get you really feel the smell of the sea, although here is not 'the protagonist.

just landed ...

sounds strange but this beautiful island only has a beach that you can 'define this, the rest are all reefs with high waves, and then en nada ..

decided to spend three nights, rent a scooter there and enjoys it rose slowly.
The Moai are spectacular, they are almost all along the road back to the sea, some are face down 'and would like to raise them because it' s really a shame that such a legacy is left like that, but you can not 'then we accept to enjoy it, and let those that have been raised and put back in their place.
visit, at great cost, the "factory" of the Moai: we are on the side of a hill that was used as a quarry, where there are statues of all sizes and at all stages of processing. Through studies have found that to make one (and all are about 300 ..) needed to be the work of thirty men for a year, and at least another two months to bring it to the final destination.
This place 'magic, there are MOAI standing, others lying down, sitting on one heel, and a 21-meter, the more' greatest of all, yet built at the quarry.

Before visiting the other side of the park which is located on the opposite side of the island, we decided to walk up to the point more 'top of the island and after 2 hours of walking in the middle of some field grown cows and horses, the show does not disappoint: there is' a 360 degree that leaves you breathless, the colors are amazing, you sees the entire perimeter of the island, we regret not to have synonyms to describe everything ', I hope the photos speak for us.

summit

laugh and it will pass ...

The next day we go to the other side of the park where there are houses of the inhabitants of the time, are about 50 and are all in the shape of the boat, they have also restored after especially after the earthquake and tsunami that had killed: in this beautiful place, overlooking the sea, there were rites to propitiate the advent of spring until the end of '800. Also next door is 'the huge crater of a volcano through which you and' the island formed by more than 1 km in diameter and 200 feet high, which now houses a swamp.

notice the dust ......

too good!
one of the houses
After all this culture, and two days of scooter that we have filled with dust, passing through the country and witness the evidence of the festival which will take place 'next week with about 50 guys who dance a ritual dance and sensual .... we were the only 'foreign' and e 'is very beautiful ..

The day ends riposaci going to sit for a few hours back and legs in the beautiful and unique beach, which is also dominated by five Moai with mega bath and sun, and then setting "kitty-cat" (Rosario docet ...).

This concludes our visit to this unique place, tomorrow we expected the plane to Santiago, Sergio still sleep and wake up start to the sea, Valparaiso awaits us ...

What Do My Sinuses Look Like

gennaio 26-29, 23-25 \u200b\u200bgennaio

arrive in Santiago on 10 and way to the hostel in Barrio Brasil, in the center and near the metro.
After check-in we get rid of heavy things because 'here and' last summer and early wandering around the city 'and deserted as' Domingo go to the park most 'famous city' where there 'who goes by bike, some in the pool, one to sanctuary, and those of us who look just a little' shadow .
We are not complaining about the heat, so all my life.
To reach the top there is 'a cable car, take it and it' great fun to admire the city 'slowly more and more' top up to the mirador where there are many people who drink something I do not know. We ask a cyclist what it is and then we also taste the Mote: It 's really very good, there are peaches and corn cooked boiled into a kind of fishing to the super cool y muy bueno.

After we relaxed refreshed and regenerated before this city 'lying before us, we go to visit the Chascona, Pablo Neruda's house where he lived with his third wife: he was a lover of the sea but did not like sailing, so he built this house-shaped vessel.
Beautiful, full of objects gathered from all over the world, and many photos and paintings, including a portrait of his wife executed by Diego Rivera, very special.

've never seen a Nobel Prize ...?

After the visit we met with Sergio, a chico known that we will host through Couch Surfing 'in the coming days.
The appointment 'in a very nice place with a large courtyard cafes of all types, yogurt bars and restaurants, we've been together a couple of hours and we left with a see you tomorrow at his house.
evening out for dinner in one of the best restaurants de pescado y mariscos, since super kitschy that's like being on a ship with the waiters dressed as sailors, but great food: a plate of delicious oysters at 10 € and the rest I'll let you imagine.

Apple, Cute, Sergio
Apple and oysters ..
The 24 arrived at the home of Sergio and Elisa, the younger sister, a little 'far from downtown but well connected to metro, very bright and above all very colorful, give us a room with clean bathroom and lenzulola .. ... YOU WANT MORE OF 'THE LIFE?
After receiving the keys of the house we go and stand in agreement with Sergio we meet in the evening and we'll do the dinner.
start the real visit to the city ': historic buildings, Cathedral, La Moneda Palace with a statue next to Saved Allende, many murals, Plaza de Armas with chess players and a fountain where the children bathe with their mothers dressed them watching and photographing them instead of scolding me, laughing with them.
Then following the advice of the famous Lonely Planet we are looking for some ways different from the rest of the city ': there is a beautiful square with guys who play guitar, surrounded by historic houses abandoned after the earthquake of 2010
There are also two roads that intersect, and via London via Paris, very English and very delicious French piazzettina and perhaps why 'and' holiday there are many guys who improvise classical music of good quality ' in the road and 'pleasant rest for a while' listening.

Clothes For Women With A Big Belly

Monday, November 22, 2010
past two days by boat, arrived in Luang Prabang, I am greeted by a beautiful sunset on Mekong River and a large crowd of tourists as it was unexpected. The situation was quickly revealed: for the first time me and two traveling companions Michael and Lapo, we encountered difficulties in finding a place to sleep. I would not have thought it? In these years of traveling I have never booked a room before you arrive on the scene and has always gone smoothly. I had just come to Laos to have these problems? Strange but true, Praband Luang, a crossroads between the extreme north and south of Laos, is a country wrought by tourism very colonial-style medium-high heat.

The heart of the country, a small strip of land that acts as a peninsula between the Mekong River and the tributary Nam Khan, it is certainly very strange to find yourself deep in the East, because, in a sense, the atmosphere is vaguely familiar: the entire center, very nice, full of temples, traditional markets and beautiful panoramic terraces overlooking the Mekong , is in fact an architectural mix of East and the French colonial past was, but what is most striking, it seems silly to say, is the bread! Yes .. lots and lots of white bread baguette anywhere in asia that stuff is as rare as gold. The French apparently hannno left their mark.
The country has also been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO and behold, everything is explained: When the lights come on ... the audience comes in bulk!
